The smaller students at IC Mazzarino have made up the environmental alphabet to have their say on climate change. The alphabet was exposed in the final peaceful march of the Climate action week.
The project carried out by the school, directed by principal Alessia Guccione and coordinated by Rosalia Marotta, saw the health, environment and safety
commission made up of teachers Gaetana di Marco, Paolo Cino, Tina Pistone, Annamaria Cammilleri, Valeria Ianni and Cristoforo Passaro. The keywords adopted by the students are balance
and sustainability.
All children wanted to be there to have their say on such an important day for environmental issues. They listened carefully to the speeches of mayor Vincenzo Marino with commissioners Elena Corinto and Franco Lo Forte, as well as the school vice-principal Concetta Marino.
